Guests as they are arriving to the Grand Ballroom at Renaissance Function Centre for the Wedding Reception of Sophie and Kyle Terrenal.
I was given the honour of DJing for long time friend Kyle, who I had met through basketball playing on the same team for several years, along with some of his groomsmen. Over the years I was also invited to DJ for Sophie’s birthday and I guess this was a trial run for their potential Wedding DJ, and alas I passed!
Being my first time at the Renaissance Function Centre, Grand Ballroom in Lidcombe, I was surprised by the size of the room, but lucky (as always) I was prepared with my full sound kit for the night! The high ceilings, room mood lighting all around and accomodating staff made for a very welcoming wedding experience.
Starting the night off with Sophie’s students entering with a traditional Lion Dance (being Chinese New Year) definitely started the nights formalities off with a bang.
